Jim Dugan Presented the Lake County Bar Association’s 2021 President’s Award
“The Lake County Bar Association celebrated Law Day 2021 virtually this year. As part of Law Day, Lake County Bar President, Joshua Strickland, presented the 2021 President’s Award to James R. Dugan, an attorney who has practiced in Lake County both in private practice, the public defender’s office and the prosecutor’s office for over 40 years. Mr. Dugan personifies all the required qualifications of the President’s Award which is presented to an attorney who is deemed by the Lake County Bar Association to provide “Outstanding service to the community and service to the profession.”

Jim joined a prestigious list of Lake County lawyers in receiving the President’s Award. At the April 30, 2021 virtual Law Day celebration, Jim thanked the Law Day committee and Lake County Bar Association for bestowing him with such an honor, and all the talented, dedicated lawyers, support staff, and friends he has worked with, and his wife Amy and family for making the award possible.
